  • 简介:ObjectiveToreportutilityofMedporframeworksinauricularreconstructionandmanagementofframeworksprotrusion.MethodsRetrorespectivelyanalysisofclinicalinformationin31patientswhounderwentauricularreconstructionfromApril2000toOctober2002.ResultsAll31reconstructedauricleswereingoodconditionattwoweekspostoperatively.Frameworkprotrusionoccurredlaterin11patients.Theframeworkwasretainedin8ofthesecasesaftersecondaryrepair,buthadtoberemovedin3patients.In27patients,thereconstructedauriclewasratedasestheticallysuccesful.ConclusionMedporframeworkprotrusionislikelytooccurwhenskintensionishighwithminimalsofttissuecoverageovertheframeworkandcanresultfromimpactbystrongexternalforce.Despitetheconcernofprotrusion,Medporframeworkscanbeusedinplaceofautologouscartilaginousgraftinauricularreconstruction.

  • 简介:TheGAUDIsoftwareframeworkistobeusedforallevent-processingapplicationsintheLHCbexperiment.TheGEANT4toolkithasbeenintegratedintoGAUDItoformthebasisoftheLHCbsimulationprogramGAUSS.Thebenefitsofthisapproacharethatitpermitsre-useofbasicservices,suchaspersistency,interactivityanddatavisualization,aswellasphysicsalgorithmsthatwereoriginallydevelopedinthecontextofthereconstructionandanalysisprograms.FollowingtheGAUDIphilosophy,theintegrationhasbeenachievedbydevelopinganumberofserviceswithabstractinterfacesthatcanbepluggedinatrun-time.Wedescribetheoveralldesignanddetailsofthecomponentsforinterfacingthedetectorgeometry,theprimaryinteractionandtheoutputfromtrackingparticlesthroughthedetector.

  • 简介:Compressivesensingisarevolutionaryideaproposedrecentlytoachievemuchlowersamplingrateforsignals.Intheimageapplicationwithlimitedresourcesthecameradatacanbestoredandprocessedincompressedform.Analgorithmformovingobjectandregiondetectioninvideousingacompressivesamplingisdeveloped.Thealgorithmestimatesmotioninformationofthemovingobjectandregionsinthevideofromthecompressivemeasurementsofthecurrentimageandbackgroundscene.Thealgorithmdoesnotperforminversecompressiveoperationtoobtaintheactualpixelsofthecurrentimagenortheestimatedbackground.Thisleadstoacomputationallyefficientmethodandasystemcomparedwiththeexistingmotionestimationmethods.Theexperimentalresultsshowthatthesamplingratecanreduceto25%withoutsacrificingperformance.

  • 简介:Inthepaperweproposeageneral,abstractframeworkforAutomaticSecretGenerationandSharing(ASGS)thatshouldbeindependentofunderlyingSecretSharingScheme(SSS).ASGSallowstopreventtheDealerfromknowingthesecret.TheBasicPropertyConjecture(BPC)formsthebaseoftheframework.Duetothelevelofabstraction,resultsareportableintotherealmofquantumcomputing.Twosituationsarediscussed.Firstconcernssimultaneousgenerationandsharingoftherandom,priornonexistentsecret.Suchasecretremainsunknownuntilitisreconstructed.Next,weproposetheframeworkforautomaticsharingofaknownsecret.InthiscasetheDealerdoesnotknowthesecretandthesecretOwnerdoesnotknowtheshares.WepresentopportunitiesforjoiningASGSwithotherextendedcapabilities,withspecialemphasisonPVSSandpre-positionedsecretsharing.Finally,weillustrateframeworkwithpracticalimplementation.
