  • 简介:Thispaperaimstoachieveanalysisandexperimentresultsthatrelatetomechanicscapabilityandstructuralparameterofaspecialsaddleshellofrevolution.Theoreticallyspeaking,thesaddleshellofrevolutionconsistsofatoroidalshellandasphericalshell.Theshellssimultaneousequationscanbesolvedwithharmoniousterms.Where,thefundamentalequationscanbesolvedbyasymptoticexponentialperturbationmethod.TheequationsofspecialsolutioncanbesolvedbyHovozhilovsspecialsolution.Thisnewideaisfromastudyofsomeexistingsolutionsofthetoroidalshell.Theresultshavebeenprovedbycomparedwithsomeexperimentalresults.Theexperimentsaimstostudytheeffectcausedbychangeofmaterialparameter,orbychangeofdifferentgeometricdimensionsofthesaddleshell,whichincludethechangeofthickness,thechangeofradiusofshell,andthechangeofribs.Finally,theacceptedproductofthesaddleshellwerereinforcedbyatoroidalribhasbeensubmitted.

  • 简介:Pulmonaryvesselsextractionisachallengingtaskinclinicalmedicine.Manypulmonarydiseasesareaccompaniedbythechangesofvesseldiameters.Thevesselsandtheirbranches,whichexhibitmuchvariability,aremostimportantinperformingdiagnosisandplanningthefollow-uptherapies.Inthispaper,weproposeanefficientapproachtopulmonaryvesselsextractionbasedonthecurveevolution.Thisapproachmodelsthevesselsasmonotonicallymarchingfrontunderthespeedfieldintegratingboththeregionandtheedgeinformationwhereanewregionspeedfunctionisdesignedandintegratedwiththeedgebasedspeedfunction.Duetotheregionbasedspeedterm,thefrontcouldevenpropagateinsmallnarrowvesselbranches.Tofurtherimprovethesegmentationresults,amulti-initialfastmarchingalgorithmisdevelopedtofastimplementthenumericalsolution,whichmayavoidthemonotonicallymarchingfrontleakingoutoftheweakboundarytooearlierandalsoreducethecomputationalcost.ThevalidityofourapproachisdemonstratedbyCTpulmonaryvesselsextraction.Experimentsshowthatthesegmentationresultsbyourapproach,especiallyonthenarrowthinvesselbranchesextraction,aremoreprecisethanthatoftheexistingmethod.

  • 简介:Sincetrimandsinkagearesignificantwhilevesselsareadvancingforwardwithhighspeed,thepredictedvesselresistancebasedonrestrainedmodeltheoryorexperimentmaynotberealresistanceofvesselsduringvoyage.Itisnecessarytotaketheinfluenceofhullgestureintoaccountfororedictingtheresistanceofhigh-speedship.Inthepresentworktheresistanceproblemofhighspeedshipistreatedwiththeviscousflowtheory,andthedynamicmeshtechniqueisadoptedtocoincidewithvariationofhullgestureofhighspeedvesselonvoyage.ThesimulationofthemodelsofS60shipandatrimaranmovingintowingtankwithhighspeedareconductedbyusingtheabovetheoryandtechnique.Thecorrespondingnumericalresultsareingoodagreementwiththeexperimentaldata.Itindicatesthattheresistancepredictionforhighspeedvesselsshouldtakehullgestureintoconsiderationandthedynamicmeshmethodproposedhereiseffectiveincalculatingtheresistanceofhighspeedvessels.

  • 简介:ObjectiveFortycasesofIAMIwereexaminedwithcoronaryangiographyinordertostudytherelationshipofthevesselswiththeECGofIAMI.MethodsForcoronaryangiographyJudkin’smethodwasused;IAMIwasdiagnosedbythe1979WHO’sstandardofISHDandECGwasseparatelymeasuredbytwodoctors.ResultsMostofIAMIwithpolybranchcoronaryoritscollateraldisease(32.5%and42.5%)andonly10cases(25%)withsinglebranchcoronarydisease,whoseECGswereuntypical.ConclusionIAMIwithsingle-branchcoronarydiseasemightexpressasmildsymptomsandhavenotypicalECGchange.WhiletypicalECGchangeemerges,thecoronaryarteryalwaysshowedpoly-branchdiseaseorcollateralbranchobstructionandthediseasewouldbeadvanced.ItisimportanttopaymoreattentiontothecasesofIAMIwithoutclassicECGchangesoastogivediagnosisandtreatmentthemintime.

  • 简介:ObjectivesToinvestthesuccessprocedure,immediateoutcomeafterprocedure,therateofmainadversecardiaceventsafterprocedureandrestenosisafterstentplacementinsmallcoronaryvessels.Methods290patientswithselectedoremergencystentimplantationinsmallvesselsfromApril,1997toMarch,2002.Total299vessels,304lesionsand316stentswerestatisted.Thesuccesssrateofprocedure,immediateoutcomeafterprocedure,therateofmainadversecardiaceventsafterprocedureandrestenosisafterstentplacementinsmallcoronaryvesselswereassessed.Thepatientswerefollowedup1monthto4years.Re-catheterangiographyweredonein122/290patients.ResultsThenarrowrateoflesiondroppedfrom89%±12%beforeprocedureto5%±5%afterprocedure(diameter).202patientswerefollowedup1month(69.7%).197/202casesweresurvival.5/202casesdiedin3hrsto7days.2/5casesdiedofpersistenthypotensionafterprocedure.1/5casediedofacuteleftheartfailure.2/5casesdiedofsuddendeath.180caseswerefollowedup5monthsto4years.Thenon-eventsurvival(NES)ratewas73.3%(132/180).There-angiographyweredonein122cases.Restenosishappenedin39cases(30.3%).37patientsrepeatedPCI.2patientswenttoCABG.2casesgotanginarecurrenceandwereprovedsecondtimerestenosisbyre-angiography.ThethirdtimePCIwasdonein1patient.TheotherpatientswenttoCABG.1casediedofchronicheartfailureafter2years.1casesufferedacutemyocardialinfarctiononarterystentimplanted.ConclusionsTherearehighsuccessrateofprocedureandperfectimmediateoutcomeinstentplacementinsmallvessels.Mainadversecardiaceventsdidnotincreased.Non-eventsurvialwassatisfiedinlongtermfollow-up.Restenosisratewasshowedslightlyhigherthantheoneofmainvessels.

  • 简介:Trendsintoday’ssteelproductionshowincreasingdemandsforhighly-sophisticatedsteelgrades.Therefore,thesteelindustrywilleventuallyberequiredtoinstallbestperformingtechnologiestomeetgovernmentalspecificationsdesignedtosignificantlyreduceenvironmentalemissions.Sucheffortsaresupportedbyinnovativenewsolutionsintheentiresteelmakingprocess.Oneprocessthatwillneedtobeaddressedisthecleanlinessofthesteelintheliquidsteelphase,especiallyduringtheBOF-tappingprocess.Thenewconvertergate(CG)(Fig.1)bestsupportstheslidegatetappingtechnologyforconvertersintermsofcleansteel,productivity,yieldandavailability-atreducedcosts.TheCGgateintroducesauniquefeatureforconverterslidegates:Thebottomplatecanbeexchangedwhilethegateremainsmountedontheconverter.Thisnewfeatureallowsforanincreasedutilisationoftherefractorypartsandasignificantreductionofthedowntimeoftheconverter.This'designedefficiency'isachievedwitharefractorysetconsistingofthreeidenticalplates-twobottomplatesandonesliderplate-andanozzle.AnumberofotherimprovementssuchasautomaticcylindercouplingusingtheInterstopSNAPtechnologyandatwosteptensioningsystemhavealsobeenimplemented.ThenewsystemisdesignedtomeetminimalspacerequirementsandthereforewilladapttomostBOFshops.Toperformpreparation,serviceandmaintenanceworkthemodularCGgatecanbedismountedfromtheconverterandsimultaneouslyreplacedbyaready-to-useunit.Thedegreeofautomationfordismountingandmountingaswellasforoff-linepreparationhasbeenenhancedandreducesmanualefforts.Thispaperprovidesasolutiontotheobvioustrendtowardsefficientandcontrolledproductionofcleansteel,ingeneral,andespeciallyatBOFshops.Moreover,itspecificallydescribestheoperationalresultsofthisinnovativeBOFtappingequipmentatSalzgitterFlachstahlGmbH,Germany.

  • 简介:Cold-stretchedpressurevesselsfromausteniticstainlesssteels(ASS)arewidelyusedforstorageandtransportationofliquefiedgases,andhavesuchadvantagesasthinwallandlightweight.Fatigueisanimportantconcerninthesepressurevessels,whicharesubjectedtoalternativeloads.Eventhoughseveralcodesandstandardshaveguidelinesonthesepressurevessels,therearenorelevantdesignmethodsonfatiguefailure.TounderstandthefatiguepropertiesofASS1.4301(equivalentsincludeUNSS30400andAISI304)insolution-annealed(SA)andcold-stretchedconditions(9%strainlevel)andtheresponseoffatiguepropertiestocoldstretching(CS),low-cyclefatigue(LCF)testswereperformedatroomtemperature,withtotalstrainamplitudesrangingfrom-.4%to-.8%.Martensitetransformationsweremeasuredduringthetests.Comparisonsoncyclicstressresponse,cyclicstress-strainbehavior,andfatiguelifewerecarriedoutbetweenSAandCSmaterials.ResultsshowthatCSreducestheinitialhardeningstage,butprolongsthesofteningperiodinthecyclicstressresponse.Martensitetransformationhelpsformastableregimeandsubsequentsecondaryhardening.Thestressesofmonotonicandcyclicstress-straincurvesareimprovedbyCS,whichleadstoalowerplasticstrainandamuchhigherelasticstrain.ThefatigueresistanceoftheCSmaterialisbetterthanthatoftheSAmaterial,whichisapproximately1?03to2?04cycles.TheS-NcurveoftheASMEstandardforASSiscomparedwiththefatiguedataandisjustifiedtobesuitableforthefatiguedesignofcold-stretchedpressurevessels.However,consideringtheCSmaterialhasabetterfatigueresistance,theS-Ncurvewillbemoreconservative.ThepresentstudywouldbehelpfulinmakingfulluseoftheadvantagesofCStodevelopanewS-Ncurveforfatiguedesignofcold-stretchedpressurevessels.
