摘要 Thispaperaimsatassessinghowlocation-basedmobilesupportsystemscansupportsalespersons'CRMeffortswhentheyareoperatingwithinahighlymobileworkenvironment.Afterbrieflydiscussingthestate-of-the-artissuesassociatedwithmobilelocationtechnologies,thepaperconceptualizeskeydimensionsforlocation-basedmobilesupportsystems.ThepaperthendiscussesthedualroleofsalespersonsinCRM.Afourthsectionsuggestsacategorizationofsalespersons'CRMtasksbasedonbothpropertiesoflocation-basedmobilesupportandtheareasofsalespersons'CRM-relatedtasksthatmaybeaffectedbymobilelocationtechnologies.Finally,thepapersuggestspotentialmobilelocationservicesandapplicationsthatcanhelpsalespersonsperformeffectivelytheireverydayCRMtasksandlinksuchapplicationstothedeterminantofsalespersons'performance.Thepaperconcludeswithadiscussionofsomecriticalissuesandsuggestsareasforfurtherresearch.
