简介:Thispaperstudiesasimpleasymmetricallyevolvedcommunitynetworkwithacombinationofpreferentialattachmentandrandomproperties.Animportantissueaboutcommunitynetworksistodiscoverthedifferentutilityincrementsoftwonodes,wheretheutilityisintroducedtoinvestigatetheasymmetricaleffectofconnectingtwonodes.Ontheotherhand,theconnectionoftwonodesincommunitynetworkscanbeclassifiedastwonodesbelongingtothesameortodifferentcommunities.Thesimulationresultsshowthatthemodelcanreproduceapower-lawutilitydistributionP(u)~uσ,σ=2+1p,whichcanbeobtainedbyusingmean-fieldapproximationmethods.Furthermore,themodelexhibitsexponentialbehaviourwithrespecttosmallvaluesofaparameterdenotingtherandomeffectinourmodelatthelow-utilityregionandapower-lawfeaturewithrespecttobigvaluesofthisparameteratthehigh-utilityregion,whichisingoodagreementwiththeoreticalanalysis.Thiskindofcommunitynetworkcanreproduceauniqueutilitydistributionbytheoreticalandnumericalanalysis.

简介:Thethermodynamicpropertiesofcrystalscanberoutinelycalculatedbydensityfunctionaltheorycalculationscombiningwithquasi-harmonicapproximation.BasedonthemethoddevelopedrecentlybyWuandWentzcovitch(PhysRevB79:104304,2009)andWu(PhysRevB81:172301,2010),weareabletofurtherabinitioincludeanharmoniceffectonthermodynamicpropertiesofcrystalsbyoneadditionalcanonicalensemblewithnumbersofparticle,volumeandtemperaturefixed(NVT)moleculardynamicsimulations.Ourstudyindicatesthatphonon–phononinteractioncausestherenormalizedphononfrequenciesofwadsleyitedecreasewithtemperature.ThisisconsistentwiththeRamanexperimentalobservation.TheanharmonicfreeenergyofwadsleyiteisnegativeanditsheatcapacityatconstantpressurecanexceedtheDulong–Petitlimitathightemperature.Theanharmonicitystillsignificantlyaffectsthermodynamicpropertiesofwadsleyiteatpressureandtemperatureconditionscorrespondtothetransitionzone.

简介:Linearmixedmodels(LMMs)havebecomeanimportantstatisticalmethodforanalyzingclusterorlongitudinaldata.Inmostcases,itisassumedthatthedistributionsoftherandomeffectsandtheerrorsarenormal.Thispaperremovesthisrestrictionsandreplacethembythemomentconditions.WeshowthattheleastsquareestimatorsoffixedeffectsareconsistentandasymptoticallynormalingeneralLMMs.Aclosed-formestimatorofthecovariancematrixfortherandomeffectisconstructedanditsconsistentisshown.Basedonthis,theconsistentestimatefortheerrorvarianceisalsoobtained.Asimulationstudyandarealdataanalysisshowthattheprocedureiseffective.
