Thewindenergygeneration,utilizationanditsgridpenetrationinelectricalgridareincreasingworld-wide.Thewindgeneratedpowerisalwaysfluctuatingduetoitstimevaryingnatureandcausingstabilityproblem.Thisweakinterconnectionofwindgeneratingsourceintheelectricalnetworkaffectsthepowerqualityandreliability.Thelocalizedenergystoragesshallcompensatethefluctuatingpowerandsupporttostrengthenthewindgeneratorinthepowersystem.Inthispaper,itisproposedtocontrolthevoltagesourceinverter(VSI)incurrentcontrolmodewithenergystorage,thatis,batteriesacrossthedcbus.Thegeneratedwindpowercanbeextractedundervaryingwindspeedandstoredinthebatteries.Thisenergystoragemaintainsthestiffvoltageacrossthedcbusofthevoltagesourceinverter.Theproposedschemeenhancesthestabilityandreliabilityofthepowersystemandmaintainsunitypowerfactor.Itcanalsobeoperatedinstand-alonemodeinthepowersystem.Thepowerexchangeacrossthewindgenerationandtheloadunderdynamicsituationisfeasiblewhilemaintainingthepowerqualitynormsatthecommonpointofcoupling.Itstrengthenstheweakgridinthepowersystem.Thiscontrolstrategyisevaluatedonthetestsystemunderdynamicconditionbyusingsimulation.Theresultsareverifiedbycomparingtheperformanceofcontrollers.
