Amethodofenhancingpowersystemstabilityforasinglemachinetoinfinitebuspowersystemispresented.ThetechniqueusedcompromisestheeffectivenessofProportional-Integral-Derivativecontroller(PID).Inordertosatisfythedampingcharacteristicsfortheproposedpowersystemoverawiderangeofoperatinginterval,rotationalspeed,torqueangleandterminalvoltagesignalsofthesynchronousmachineareutilizedascontrolsignalsofthesystem.Itiswellknownthatthesevariableshavesignificanteffectsondampingthegeneratorsshaftmechanicaloscillations,it'llbesoeasytovalidatethemostsuitablecontrollerasseenfromthesimulationresults.
