Precisionmedicineandpersonalizedtherapyarereceivingincreasedattention,andmolecular-subtypeclassificationhasbecomecrucialinplanningtherapeuticschedulesinclinicalpracticeforpatientswithbreastcancer.Humanepidermalgrowthfactorreceptor2(HER2)isassociatedwithhigh-gradebreasttumors,highratesoflymph-nodeinvolvement,highriskofrecurrence,andhighresistancetogeneralchemotherapy.AnalysisofHER2expressionishighlyimportantfordoctorstoidentifypatientswhocanbenefitfromtrastuzumabtherapyandmonitortheresponseandefficacyoftreatment.Inrecentyears,significanteffortshavebeendevotedtoachievingspecificandnoninvasiveHER2-positivebreastcancerimaginginvivo.Inthiswork,wereviewedexistingliteratureonHER2imaginginthepastdecadeandsummarizedthestudiesfromdifferentpointsofview,suchasimagingmodalitiesandHER2-specificprobes.WeaimedtoimprovetheunderstandingonthetranslationalprocessinmolecularimagingforHER2breastcancer.
