Arobustsystemforbacklitkeyboardinspectionisrevealed.Thebacklitkeyboardnotonlyhaschangeablepersecolorsbutalsohasthelasermarkingkeys.Thekeysonthekeyboardcanbepidedintoregionsoffunctionkeys,normalkeys,andnumberkeys.However,theremighthavesometypesofdefects:incorrectilluminatingarea,non-uniformilluminationofspecifiedinspectionregion(IR),andincorrectluminanceandintensityofinpidualkey.Sincetheilluminationfeaturesofbacklitkeyboardaretoocomplextoinspectforhumaninspectorintheproductionline,anauto-matedinspectionsystemforthebacklitkeyboardisproposedinthispaper.Thesystemwasdesignedintotheoperationmoduleandinspectionmodule.Asetofimageprocessingmethodsweredevelopedforthesedefectsinspection.Someexperimentalresultsdemonstratetherobustnessandeffectivenessoftheproposedsystem.
