Tunable double-resonance dimer structure for surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrate in near-infrared region

摘要 PlasmonicresonancewithFanolineshapehasattractedagreatdealofrecentinterest.Herewedesignanewstructurewithadimergratinguponagoldfilmseparatedbyalayerofsilicaspacer,whichhastworesonantmodescorrespondingtothedimer’slocalizedsurfaceplasmonresonanceandthesurfaceplasmonresonanceexcitedbythedimergrating.Thisstructurehasthreeadvantagesfornear-infrareddetectioninwater.First,itprovidestworesonantmodestoenhancetheexcitationandscatteredsignalsofsurface-enhancedRamanscattering.Second,couplingofthesetwomodesresultsinaFanoresonance,providingahigherelectricfieldenhancement.Finally,thedimerprovidesmoreflexibletunabilitycomparedtoasinglediskstructure.
