  • 简介:TheassociationbetweenthelunarphasesandtheatmosphericelectricfieldhasbeeninvestigatedfromthesuperposedepochanalysisofthelongseriesofcontinuousdataoftheverticalelectricfieldforColaba,Bombay(18°53’N,73°48’E11mASL)fortheperiod1947-1966.Alsotheperiodicitiesintheatmosphericelectricfieldhavebeenstudiedfromthespectralanalysisofthedata.Thestudyhasindicatedthatwhenthefullmooniswithin4oftheeclipticplanei.e.,Bf4°,theelectricfieldpeaksonthedayofthefullmoonfollowedbyasteepfallinthefieldvaluesupto4daysfollowingthefullmoondayandthereafteritshowedasteepincrease.Also,theelectricfieldhasexhibited5-9dayperiodicityanditsmultiplesarenearlyalwayspresent.Theperiodicityintheelectricfieldcorrespondswiththeaveragetimeintervalbetweenthesuccessivemagneticsectorboundary(MSB)crossingsi.e.,7days.Onmostoftheoccasions,theMSBcrossingdayisassociatedwithamaximumof

  • 简介:Afeature-constrainedstereomatchingalgorithmforlunarrovernavigationispresentedbasedontheanalysisofthestereovisionsystemandworkingenvironmentsoflunarrover.Infeature-matchingphase,edgepointsareextractedwithwavelettransformandareusedastheprimitivesformatching.Thenthreecriterionsareutilizedinturntoselectthecorrectmatchingpointswiththepyramidalsearchingstrategy.Asaresult,thealgorithmfindscorrespondingpointssuccessfullyforlargenumbersofedgepoints.Area-matchingisaccomplishedundertheconstraintofedge-matchingresults,andthecorrelationisselectedasthecriterion.Experimentalresultswithrealimagesofnaturalterrainindicatethatthealgorithmprovidesdensedisparitymapswithfairlyhighaccuracy.

  • 简介:Amapoftheaverageatomicnumberoflunarrockandsoilcanbeusedtodifferentiatelithologyandsoiltypeonthelunarsurface.Thispaperestablishesalinearrelationshipbetweentheaverageatomicnumberoflunarrockorsoilandthefluxofpositionannihilationradiation(0.512-MeVgamma-ray)fromthelunarsurface.TherelationshipisconfirmedbyMonteCarlosimulationwithdatafromlunarrockorsoilsamplescollectedbyLuna(Russia)andApollo(USA)missions.AmapoftheaverageatomicnumberofthelunarrockandsoilonthelunarsurfacehasbeenderivedfromtheGamma-RaySpectrometerdatacollectedbyChang’e-1,anunmannedChineselunar-orbitingspacecraft.Inthemap,thehigheraverageatomicnumbers(ZA>12.5),whicharerelatedtodifferenttypesofbasalt,areinthemariaregion;thehighestZA(13.2)readingsareassociatedwithSinusAestuum.ThemiddleZA(~12.1)regions,intheshapeofirregularovalrings,areinWestOceanusProcellarumandMareFrigoris,whichseemstobeconsistentwiththedistributionofpotassium,rareearthelements,andphosphorusasauniquefeatureonthelunarsurface.Theloweraverageatomicnumbers(ZA<11.5)arefoundtobecorrelatedwiththeanorthositeonthefarsideoftheMoon.
