  • 简介:Afterthesingle-strainabilitiesoforganic-pollutant-degradingbacteriainbioremediationofsedimentenvironmentofshrimpculturearedetermined,themultistraindegradingeffectofthecompositionsofdifferentstrainsismeasured.Theresultsindicatethatthemulti-strainsgroupshavehigherdegradingabilitythanthesingle-straingroups.Three-straingroupsarebetterthantwo-straingroups,andfourstraingroupsarebetterthanthree-straingroupsandfive-straingroups,thegroupscomposedofstrainsLt7222,Lt7511,Fc6308andGy7018hasthebestdegradingeffect,theCODMnremovalrateis73.2%in66h,andgetsto82.7%in114h,30%higherthanthatofthebestsingle-straingroup;GroupsofLt7222,Lt7511,Lt7451andGy7018arethesecond,whoseCODMnremovalrateis82.1%in114h,Itissuggestedthatmulti-speciesbacteriabeusedasfunctionalbacteriainbiorernediationofmaricultureenvironment.

  • 简介:Thebottomsedimentsamplesweregatheredduringislandinvestigationin1994andintheperiodofcarryingoutthenaturalsciencefundprojectofFujianin1999.Thecomposition,distributionandassemblagecharacteristicsofheavymineralswhichgranularitydistributesfrom0.063to0.125mminthesedimentfromJiulongRiverestuaryarestudiedinthepaper.Theresultsshowthatthereare49kindsofheavymineralsandtheaveragecontentofthemis9.38%.Thedominantandcharacteristicmineralsaremagnetite,hematite,epidote,ilmenite,limonite,hornblende,zircon,andalusite,biotiteandsoon.4mineralassemblagezones(Ⅰ.ThewatercoursegatewayofJiulongRivermineralzone,Ⅱ.ThenorthernestuaryofJiulongRivermineralzone,Ⅲ.Thesouthernestuarymineralzone,Ⅳ.TheeasternestuaryofJiulongRivermineralzone),canbedividedbasedontheheavymineralcontentsandthedistributioncharacteristics,whichnotonlyrelatestothemattersourcesbutalsoiscontrolledbyhydrodynamicconditionandthesedimentaryenvironmentintheJiulongRiverestuary.

  • 简介:Xiangshanbayisanarrowsemi-closedbayandsituatedonthenorthwesterncoastoftheEastChinaSea.Overpastdecades,ithasbecometoamajorbaywithintensivehumanactivities,denseurbanizedarea,andpoorwaterquality.Theaimofthispaperwastorevealtheecologicalstatusthroughtheelucidationofthespeciescomposition,abundance,biomassanddiversityofmacrobenthosinthisbay.SixintertidalsectionsweresurveyedfromJanuary2007toNovember2008quarterly.SectionsTG,HDandXHarelocatedinthethreeinnerbays,sectionsQJandWSarelocatednearthethermalpowerplants,andsectionXXislocatedattheouterpartofXiangshanBay.Greatvariationsinmacrobenthoscommunitywereindentified,andthespeciescompositionofthecommunityinthepresentstudyshowedthedominanceintheorderofmolluscs(bivalvesandgastropods),crustaceansandothers,andonlyfewPolychaetawererecorded.Onlythreedominantspecies,Littorinabrevicula,Ilyplaxtansuiensis,andCerithideacingulatawerecollectedinallthesections,andatotalof19dominantspecieswererecordedonlyinonesection.Two-wayANOVAanalysesofabundanceindicatedthatthereweresignificantdifferencesamongsectionsorseasons.Shannon-Wienerdiversityindex(H’)haditsmaximum(2.45)insectionQJ,andminimum(1.76)insectionTG.Multipleirregulark-dominanceplotsclearlyshowedthatthestudyareawaspollutedandthemacrobenthoscommunitywasunderstress.WeconcludethatthemacrobenthosofXiangshanBayhavebeendisturbedbyhumanactivities,especiallyattheinteriorbay.

  • 简介:TheGCanalysisoffattyacidoffourspeciesofmarinemicroalgaeculturedatdifferenttemperatureshowsthatthetemperaturehasdistincteffectsonthecompositionandunsaturateddegreeoffattyacidofmicroalgae.ThepercentagesofTPUFAinTFAandthenumberofmeandouble-bondoffattyacidsotIsochrysisgalbana,DunaliellasalinaandPhaeodactylumtricornutumdecreasewiththeascendingtemperature,whilethoseofTMUFAandTSFAincreaseundertheconditionsofthepresentexperiment.ThecontentofTPUFAandthenumberofmeandouble-bondsofChlorellasp.firstdecreaseandthenincrease,withtheminimumoccurringat20℃.

  • 简介:Heavymineralswithasizerangeof0.125~0.250mminthesurficialsedimentofMinjiangEstuaryarestudied.Thirty-fourheavymineralshavebeenidentified,withanaveragecontentof1.92%.Majormineralsincludemagnetite,epidote,hematite,hornblende,ilmenite,andzirconmica.Thesetypesarethesameasthoseinthe0.063~0.125mmrange;however,theaveragecontentislower,whichrevealsthattheheavymineralsinMinjiangEstuaryaremainlyenrichedinthevery-finesandfraction.Accordingtothecontentanddistributioncharacteristicsofthemajorheavyminerals,MinjiangEstuarycanbedividedinto4mineralassemblagezones.Ineachzonetheassemblageofheavymineralsisgreatlyaffectedbythehydrodynamicconditionandthesedimentaryenvironment.HeavymineraltypesalsoshowthatdetritalmattersinMinjiangEstuaryareoriginatedfromtheweatheringanderosionofthebedrockintheMinjiangRiverdrainagearea.

  • 简介:Thispaperreportssiliconandoxygenisotopesof20kindsofigneousrocksandtheirmajorelementsfromtheeasternManusBasin.Combiningsiliconandoxygenisotopicdatafromotherstudies,wesupposethatbothδ30Siandδ18OvaluesincreasewiththeincreasingofSiO2content.Itmeansthatthefractionationofsiliconandoxygenisotopesareaffectedbythesilicacontent.ThepositivecorrelationbetweenCaO/Al2O3ratiosandMgOandthatbetweenSi/AlandSiO2contentindicatethatclinopyroxeneisthepredominantmineralphaseinoursamples.Wesupposethatthefractionationofsiliconandoxygenisotopesareinfluencedbymineralfractionalcrystallization.Probably,itisduetotheirdifferentsiliconandoxygenbridges.Inthisstudy,theδ30Simeanvalue=-0.17‰±0.17‰andδ18Omeanvalue=+6.07‰±0.57‰arehigherthannormalδ30Siandδ18Ovaluesofmantle,andweproposethattheseigneousrocksintheeasternManusBasinareaffectedbyhydrothermalalteration.

  • 简介:BasedontrawlsurveysintheBeringSeaandChukchiSeaduringthe2010ChineseNationalArcticResearchExpedition,fishbiodiversitycharacteristics,suchasfishcomposition,dominantspecies,biodiversity,andfaunalcharacteristicswereconducted.WealsodiscussedtheresponsesoffishestothequickchangesinArcticclimate.Theresultsshowedthatatotalof41speciesin14familieswererecordedinthesewaters.ThedominantspecieswereHippoglossoidesrobustus,Boreogadussaida,Myoxocephalusscorpius,Lumpenusfabricii,andArtediellusscaber.Therewere35coldwaterspecies,accountingfor85.37%,andsixcoldtemperatespecies,occupying14.63%.Thehabitattypesoffishcouldbegroupedasfollows:35speciesofdemersalfishes,fivebenthopelagicfishes,andonepelagicfish.TheShannon–Wienerdiversityindex(H)(rangebetween0and2.18,1.21onaverage)wasnothigh,anddescendedfromsouthtonorth.ClimatechangehascausedsomefishestoshiftalongtheirlatitudinalandlongitudinaldistributionaroundtheArcticandSubarcticareas,andthiscouldleadtothedeclineofArcticfisheryresources.

  • 简介:AninvivofluorescencediscriminationtechniqueforphytoplanktonpopulationwasdevelopedbyusingWaveletpackettransform,clusteranalysisandnon-negativeleastsquares.Thetechniquewasusedtoanalyzewatersamplesfromdifferentsearegions.Forsimulativemixtures,whendominantspeciesaccountfor60%,70%,80%,90%atthedivisionlevel,thecorrectdiscriminationratios(CDRs)are83.0%,99.1%,99.7%and99.9%withtherelativecontentsof58.5%,68.4%,77.7%and86.3%,respectively;whenthealgaedominanceare60%,70%,80%,90%,100%atthegenuslevel,theCDRsare86.1%,94.9%,95.2%,96.8%and96.7%,respectively.Forlaboratorymixtures,theCDRsare88.1%and78.4%atthedivisionandgenuslevel,respectively.Forfieldsamples,theCDRswere91.7%and80%atthedivisionandgenuslevel,respectively(mesocosmexperiments),andtheCDRswere100%and66.7%atthedivisionandgenuslevel,respectively(JiaozhouBay).ThefluorometrictechniquewasusedtoestimatethephytoplanktoncommunitycompositionandrelativeabundanceofdifferentclassesfortheApril2010cruiseintheYellowSeawiththeresultsagreeingwiththoseinpublishedpapersbyotherauthors.

  • 简介:Thecomposition,assemblageanddistributioncharacteristicsofheavymineralsfrom63to125μmgrainsizesinsurfacesedimentfromtheXinghuaBay(17stations)arestudied.Themattersourceofsiltandtherelationshipbetweenheavymineralsandsedimentaryenvironmentarealsodiscussed.Theresultsshowthatthereare37kindsofheavymineralsandtheaveragecontentofthemis12.08%,whichexceeds6%comparedwiththeMeizhouBay(5.67%).Thedominantmineralsaremagnetite,hornblende,epidote,ilmenite,hematite,limonite,zirconandsoon.MineralkindsrevealthatthesourcesofsiltinthisbayarethefluvialinputanderodedproductsofbedrockincircumjacentlandandislandsoftheXinghuaBay.However,themattersourcefromoutsidethisbayisless.FourmineralassemblagezonescanbedividedbasedonheavymineralcontentsanddistributioncharacteristicsintheXinghuaBay,whicharenotonlyinfluencedbymattersource,butalsocontrolledbyhydrodynamicconditionandsedimentaryenvironmentintheXinghuaBay.

  • 简介:TheJiaozhouBayischaracterizedbyheavyeutrophicationthatisassociatedwithintensiveanthropogenicactivities.FourcoresedimentsfromtheJiaozhouBayareanalyzedusingbulktechnologies,includingsedimentarytotalorganiccarbon(TOC),totalnitrogen(TN),thestablecarbon(δ~(13)C)andnitrogen(δ~(15)N)isotopiccompositiontoobtainthecomprehensiveunderstandingofthesourceandcompositionofsedimentaryorganicmatterandfurthershedlightontheenvironmentalchangesoftheJiaozhouBayonacentennialtimescale.ResultssuggestthattheTOCandTNconcentrationsincreaseintheuppercore,havingindicatedaprobableeutrophicationprocesssincethe1920sintheinnerbayandthe2000sinthebaymouth.TheTOCandTNconcentrationsoutsidethebayhavealsochangedsince1916owingtothevariationofterrigenousinput.ConsideringTOC/TNratio,δ~(13)Candδ~(15)N,itcanbeconcludedthereisamixtureofterrigenousandmarineorganicmattersourcesinthestudyarea.Asimpletwoend-member(terrigenousandmarine)mixingmodelusingδ~(13)Cindicatsthat45%–79%ofTOCintheJiaozhouBayisfromthemarinesource.TheenvironmentalchangesoftheJiaozhouBayarerecordedbygeochemicalproxies,whichareinfluencedbytheintensiveanthropogenicactivities(e.g.,extensiveuseoffertilizers,anddischargeofsewage)andclimatechanges(e.g.,rainfall).

  • 简介:Harmfulalgalblooms(HABs)haveledtoextensiveecologicalandenvironmentalissuesandhugeeconomiclosses.VariousHABcontroltechniqueshavebeendeveloped,andbiologicalmethodshavebeenpaidmoreattention.Algicidalbacteriaisageneraldesignationforbacteriawhichinhibitalgalgrowthinadirectorindirectmanner,andkillordamagethealgalcells.AmetabolitewhichisstronglytoxictothedinoflagellateAlexandriumtamarensewasproducedbystrainDH46ofthealga-lysingbacteriumAlteromonassp.Thecultureconditionswereoptimizedusingasingle-factortestmethod.Factorsincludingcarbonsource,nitrogensource,temperature,initialpHvalue,rotationalspeedandsalinitywerestudied.Theresultsshowedthatthecultivationofthebacteriaat28℃and180rmin-1withinitialpH7and30saltcontcentrationfavoredboththecellgrowthandthelysingeffectofstrainDH46.TheoptimalmediumcompositionforstrainDH46wasdeterminedbymeansofuniformdesignexperimentation,andthemostimportantcomponentsinfluencingthecelldensityweretryptone,yeastextract,solublestarch,NaNO3andMgSO4.Whenthefollowingculturemediumwasused(tryptone14.0g,yeastextract1.63g,solublestarch5.0g,NaNO31.6g,MgSO42.3gin1L),thelargestbacterialdryweight(7.36gL-1)wasobtained,whichwasanenhancementof107%comparedtotheinitialmedium;andthealgallysisratewasashighas98.4%whichincreasednearly10%afteroptimization.
