Surface Corrugation in Rotational and Diffractive Scattering of O2 from LiF （001）-中国期刊网

摘要 Aquantumdynamiccalculationonafive-dimensionalO2/LiF（001）modelsystemisperformedusingthemulti-configurationtime-dependentHartreemethod.Theobtainedresultsshowthatthemechanismofrotationalanddiffractiveexcitationindetails:Comparisonwiththerotationalexcitedstate,theinitiallynon-rotationalstateisseentofavortheinelasticscatteringintherotationalexcitationprocess.Thesurfacecorrugationcandampthequantuminterferencesandproduceagreateramountofrotationalinelasticscatteringattheexpenseoftheelasticprocessintherotationalexcitationprocess.Thediffractionprocessandtheaverageenergytransferredintotherotationalanddiffractivemodearealsodiscussed.
