摘要
Arheo-diecastingprocess(RDC)wasinvestigatedforsemisolidprocessingofanAZ91Dmagnesiumalloy.TheresultsoftheRDCsamplesinas-caststateindicatethatthemicrostructureofprimaryα-Mgparticleshasafinesize,nearlysphericalmorphology,anduniformdistributionthroughoutthecomponents.Duetotheadvancedmicrostructureandreducedlevelofdefects,theRDCAZ91DMgalloyexhibitsanapparentimprovementinmechanicalproperties.Thequantitativemetallographicinvestigationsrevealthatincreasingtheintensityofforcedconvectionduringtheslurrypreparationresultsinapromotednucleationandreducedvolumefractionoftheprimaryphasesolidifiedintheslurrymaker.
