ANALYTICAL MODELS OF FLOATING BRIDGES SUBJECTED BY MOVING LOADS FOR DIFFERENT WATER DEPTHS

摘要 Therearetwotypesoffloatingbridgesuchasdiscrete-pontoonfloatingbridgesandcontinuous-pontoonfloatingbridges.Analyticalmodelsofbothfloatingbridgessubjectedbymovingloadsarepresentedtostudythedynamicresponseswithhydrodynamicinfluencecoefficientsfordifferentwaterdepths.Thebeamtheoryandpotentialtheoryareintroducedtoproducethemodels.ThehydrodynamiccoefficientsanddynamicresponsesofbridgesareevaluatedbytheboundaryelementmethodandbytheGalerkinmethodofweightedresiduals,respectively.Consideringcausalrelationshipbetweenthefrequenciesoftheoscillationoffloatingbridgesandtheaddedmasscoefficients,aniterationmethodisintroducedtocomputehydrodynamicfrequencies.Theresultsindicatethatwaterdepthhaslittleinfluenceuponthedynamicresponsesofbothtypesoffloatingbridges,sothattheeffectofwaterdepthcanbeneglectedduringthecourseofdesigningfloatingbridges.
