摘要 Thepoloidalrotationofthemagnetizededgeplasmaintokamakdrivenbytheponderomotiveforcewhichisgeneratedbyinjectinglowerhybridwave(LHW)electricfieldhasbeenstudied.TheLHWislaunchedfromawaveguideintheplasmaedge,andbyBrambilla’sgrilltheory,analyticexpressionsforthewaveelectricfieldintheslabmodelofaninhomogeneouscoldplasmahavebeenderived.ItisshownthatastrongwaveelectricfieldwillbegeneratedintheplasmaedgebyinjectingLHwaveofthepowerinMWmagnitude,andthiselectricfieldwillinduceapoloidalrotationwithashearedpoloidalvelocity.PACS:52.55.Fa
