摘要 Thispaperconstructsanewkindofblockbasedbivariateblendingrationalinterpolationviasymmetricbranchedcontinuedfractions.Theconstructionprocessmaybeoutlinedasfollows.Thefirststepistodividetheoriginalsetofsupportpointsintosomesubsets(blocks).Thenconstructeachblockbyusingsymmetricbranchedcontinuedfraction.FinallyassembletheseblocksbyNewton’smethodtoshapethewholeinterpolationscheme.OurnewmethodoffersmanyflexiblebivariateblendingrationalinterpolationschemeswhichincludetheclassicalbivariateNewton’spolynomialinterpolationandsymmetricbranchedcontinuedfractioninterpolationasitsspecialcases.Theblockbasedbivariateblendingrationalinterpolationisinfactakindoftradeoffbetweenthepurelylinearinterpolationandthepurelynonlinearinterpolation.Finally,numericalexamplesaregiventoshowtheeffectivenessoftheproposedmethod.
