摘要
Inridspaperamixedfiniteelementmethodfortheconvection-dominateddiffusionproblemswithsmallparameterεispresented,theeffectoftheparameterεontheapproximationerrorisconsideredandasufficientconditionforoptimalerrorestimatesisderived.Thepaperalsoshowsthatundersomeconditions,thestandardfinitedementmethodonlygivesahoundedsolution,howeverthemixedfiniteelementmethodgivesaconvergentone.
