摘要
RecentlytherehasbeenmuchriseintheinterestsoftheresearchonEnglishaslinguafranca(ELF),however,inadequateattentionisputontheculturedimensionunderthecontextofELF.ThisarticletriestoexploretherelationshipbetweenlanguageandcultureunderELFandsuggestedthatthecultureisnotsettledorstatic,butishighlydynamicandcontextdependent.Therefore,theabilitytonegotiatebecomesvitalwhenEnglishisusedasalinguafranca.
