摘要
Electrochemicalandcorrosionbehaviourofreinforcedsteelembeddedincementpastesincorporatingdifferentamountsofsilicafumeasapartialreplacementofcementhasbeenstudiedinchlorideandsulphatesolutionsbyusingdifferentelectrochemicaltechniques.Theresultsindicatethat,whilesteelpassivitydegreeislowinthecontrolsamples'uponsoakinginthecorrosivemedia,ithasbeenhighihsamplesincorporatingsilicafumeandincreasedwithincreasingsilicafumecontent.Theimprovementeffectofsilicafumemaybeattributedtotheporesolutionstructureofthecementpaste,whichlimitsthemobilityofaggressiveionsnearthesurfaceofthesteel.Themechanismofsteelcorrosionduetochlorideandsulphateattackandpassivationeffectofsilicafumearediscussed.
