Forward Link Power Control Strategy and its Optimum Issue in CDMA Cellular Networks-中国期刊网

摘要 Inthispaper,weproposeatheoreticalmethodinordertoestimatetheforwardlinkoutageprobabilityandusercapacityofacellularsystemwhicharebasedonIS-95CDMAstandard,especialyimpactofpowercontrolstrategyandwiceactivitymonitoringinthesystemunderlong-termfadingeffects,inwhichthelightandheavyfadingsareconsidered.Accordingtothenumericalresultsobtainedinthispaper,thepowercontrolstrategyleadstoapproximatelythethreefoldusercapacityincontrasttothesituationwithoutpowercontrolstrategy,ThereultsarecomparedwithInterference-to-SignalRatio(ISR)drivenpowercontrolscheme^[6][9]whichcanbeusedonlyforsimulationofthesystem.Thepowercontrolstrategynotonlyimprovesthedesiredsignaltotheinterferencerationinthereferenceuser'sreceiver,butalsooffersuniformservicetotheuserwhereveritislocatedinthecell.
