摘要
ThispaperoutlinesthedesgnandprototypingoftheATLASHighLevelTrigger(HLT)wihchisacombinedeffortoftheDataCollectionHLTandPESA(PhysicsandEventSelectionArchitecture)subgroupswithintheATLASTDAQcollaboration.Twoimportantissues,alresdyoutlinedintheATLASHLT,DAQandDCSTechnicalProposal[1]willbehighlighted:thetreatmentoftheLVL2TriggerandEventFilterasaspectsofageneralHLTwithaviewtoeasiermigrationofalgorthmsbetweenthetwolevels;unificationoftheselectivedatacollectionforLVL2andEventBuilding.
