摘要
Modernchirpedpulseamplificationlasersystemswithcontinuouslyimprovingcontrollabilityandincreasingpowerareabouttoreachintensitiesofupto10~(22)Wcm~(-2)andhaveproventheirpotentialtoaccelerateionsoutofplasmatoseveraltenspercentofthespeedoflight.Forenablingapplication,oneimportantstepistoincreasetherepetitionrateatwhichionbunchesareatthedisposal.Inparticular,techniquesusedsofarforthinfoiltargetproductioncanrequireseveraldaysofpreparingreasonableamountsforasinglecampaign.Inthispaperwedescribethereasonablydropletmethodwhichwehavetestedandimprovedsothattheemergingfoilswiththicknessesofafewnanometresuptomicrometrecanbeusedastargetsforlaserionacceleration.Theirqualityandperformancecancompetewithsofaremployedtechniquestherebyenablingtheproductionofhundredsoftargetsperday.
