摘要 OnDecember15,2008,theInternationalResearchCenteronKarstundertheAuspicesofUNESCO(hereinafterreferredasIRCK)wasformallyestablishedinGuilin,China.ItisalsothefirstcategoryⅡcenterconcerninggeosciences.Sinceitsfoundation,ithasorganized11internationalsymposia,attractedover200foreignscientistsfrommorethan40countriesforacademicexchange,andsigned16internationalcooperationagreementswith14countries.Ithasplayedanactiveroleforinternationalexchange,setfirmfoundationforcooperativeprojects.
