摘要
AmeshlessapproachtoanalysisofarbitraryKirchhoffplatesbythelocalboundaryintegralequation(LBIE)methodispresented.Themethodcombinestheadvantageousfeaturesofallthethreemeth-ods:theGalerkinfiniteelementmethod(GFEM),theboundaryelementmethod(BEM)andtheelement-freeGalerkinmethod(EFGM).Itisatrulymeshlessmethod,whichmeansthatthediscretizationisinde-pendentofgeometricsubdivisionintoelementsorcells,butisonlybasedonasetofnodes(orderedorscat-tered)overadomaininquestion.Itinvolvesonlyboundaryintegration,however,overalocalboundarycen-teredatthenodeinquestion;Itposesnodifficultiesinsatisfyingtheessentialboundaryconditionswhileleadingtobandedandsparsesystemmatricesusingthemovingleastsquare(MLS)approximations.Itisshownthathighaccuracycanbeachievedforarbitrarygeometriesforclampedandsimply-supportededgeconditions.Themethodisfoundtobesimple,efficient,andattractive.
