Steering performance of an inverted pendulum vehicle with pedals as a personal mobility vehicle

摘要 Fromtheviewpointsofenvironmentalprotection,supportfortheagedandensuringtherighttomobility,thereisaneedtodevelopanewtypeofmobilityvehiclethatprovidesmoreeffectivetransportation.Theauthorsproposeaninvertedpendulumvehiclewithpedalsasoneoftheformsofpersonalmobilityvehicles(PMVs).Inthispaper,thesteeringperformanceoftheinvertedpendulumvehiclewithpedalsisdiscussedbasedonexperimentsonaprototype.Fromtheexperimentalresults,itwasconfirmedthattheerrorsfromthefivesubjectsforthetargettrajectoryandthefive-gradeevaluationofthemaneuverabilityweresimilar.Finally,wecreatedaninvertedpendulumvehiclewithpedalstowhichwasaddedareactionactuatorforthesteeringsystem.Fromtheexperimentalresults,itwasfoundthatsettingappropriatefeedbackgainsforthehandlesteeringangleanditsrateofrotation,whichcontroltherightandleftwheeldrivingtorques,resultedingreatlyimprovedmaneuverability.
