Torsionally coupled dynamic performance analysis of asymmetric offshore platforms subjected to wave and earthquake loadings

摘要 Thedynamicequationsofmotionofasymmetricoffshoreplatformsunderthreedifferentenvironmentalconditions:seismicaction,waveactionandtheircombinationareestablishedinthispaper.Inestablishingthesemotionequations,threetypicaleccentricitytypesincludingmasseccentricity,rigidityeccentricityandtheircombinationwereconsidered,asareeccentricitiesthatoccurun-idirectionallyandbi-directionally.Theeffectsoftheeccentricitytype,thedynamiccharacteristicsandtheenvironmentalconditionsonthetorsionalcouplingresponseofplatformsareinvestigatedandcompared.Anefforthasalsobeenmadetoanalyzetheinffluenceofaccidentaleccentricityonasymmetricplatformswithdifferenteccentricityintwohorizontallyorthogonaldirections.Theresultsaregivenintermsofnon-dimensionalparameters,accountingfortheuncoupledtorsionaltolateralfrequencyratio.Numericalresultsrevealthattheeccentricitytypehasagreatinffluenceonthetorsionallycoupledresponseunderdifferentenvironmentalconditions.Therefore,itisnecessarytoconsiderthecombinationofearthquakeandwaveactionintheseismicresponseanalysisofsomeoffshoreplatforms.
