摘要
ThefoamingslagpracticecaneffectivelysolvetheproblemsexistinginEAFsmeltingofstainlesssteel,suchashighelectricalconsumption,highrefractoryconsumptionandlongtaptotaptime.Inthispaper,theoreticalanalysesweremadeonthetechnicaldifficultiesanddevelopmentfeasibilityofthetechnology.Slagfoamingexperimentswereperformedina10tEAFwherecrudestainlesssteelwithaCrcontentof13%-15%andacarboncontentof1.5%-2.5%wassmeltedandspecialfoamingpelletswereaddedtoreleaseadditionalgasforbetterfoaming.GoodfoamingslagwasobservedwiththeelectricarcfullycoveredbythefoamwhenthecontentofCr2O3isbetween7%-12%.Theindustrialscaleexperimentswereperformedina110tEAFbytheuseofthesamefoamingpellets.Comparedwiththetraditionaloperation,theseexperimentsresultedinbetterfoamingeffects.
