Denoising Method for Shear Probe Signal Based on Wavelet Thresholding

摘要 Shearprobeworksunderatoughenvironmentwheretheturbulencesignalstobemeasuredareveryweak.Themeasuredturbulencesignalsoftencontainalargeamountofnoise.Duetowidefrequencyband,noisesignalscannotbeeffectivelyremovedbytraditionalmethodsbasedonFouriertransform.Inthispaper,awaveletthresholdingdenoisingmethodisproposedforturbulencesignalprocessinginthatwaveletanalysiscanbeusedformulti-resolutionanalysisandcanextractlocalcharacteristicsofthesignalsinbothtimeandfrequencydomains.Turbulencesignaldenoisingprocessismodeledbasedonthewavelettheoryandcharacteristicsoftheturbulencesignal.Thethresholdanddecompositionlevel,aswellastheprocedureoftheturbulencesignaldenoising,aredeterminedusingthewaveletthresholdingmethod.TheproposedwaveletthresholdingmethodwasvalidatedbyturbulencesignaldenoisingoftheWesternPacificOceantrialdata.Theresultsshowthatthepropsedmethodcanreducethenoiseinthemeasuredsignalsbyshearprobes,andthefrequencyspectrumsofthedenoisedsignalcorrespondwelltotheNasmythspectrum.
