摘要
Expansionisanimportantoperationinthehotextrusionproductionlineofseamlesssteeltubes,whichistoproduceproperhollowbilletsforextrusion.Thebilletgoesthroughinductionheatingbeforeexpandedtoacquireapropertemperature.Inthisstudy,theeffectsofthreetypesofinhomogeneoustemperaturefieldson321stainlesstubesduringtheexpansionprocessweresimulated.Theresultshaveindicatedthatitwasanoptimumtemperaturefiledforexpansion,wherethetemperaturevariedlinearlyalongradialdirectionandthetemperaturewaslowerontheinnersurface.Thistemperaturefieldisbeneficialtoimprovingthestabilityofexpansionandensuringdimensionalaccuracyandincreasingtheutilizationrateoftubularbilletmaterial.
